W5 | World's Warmest Wetsuit | 5/4/3mm
W5 | World's Warmest Wetsuit | 5/4/3mm
Our most complex and warm offering which was originally tagged the W3: The 'World's Warmest Wetsuit' we have renamed the W5 due it being primarily produced in Yamamoto 5/4/3mm neoprene. It features a built-in hood and a concealed back zip within the back panel, ensuring easy entry, particularly for those with broader shoulders. This wetsuit represents our most dedicated effort, many years of design and team feedback along with knowledge and development using Smooth-Skin technology.
The W5 is exquisitely manufactured, acting as a barrier that neither absorbs nor carries water. It boasts a zirconium lining throughout the body and hood, offering unparalleled heat retention, water resistance, and thermal insulation. The organ shield on the front body panel is a robust 6mm with lining. The concealed back zip is equipped with a quick-release pull cord for effortless unzipping post-surf, while the neck and upper section feature a triple water barrier, secured by a mini front zip to minimize neck opening and prevent water ingress. Designed for surfing in temperatures ranging from 3°C (37°F) to 9°C (48°F), the W3's five-year development period has resulted in what we believe to be the warmest wetsuit for its thickness available on the market.
