Ordering
Ordering from our site is simple - just browse our site adding the products you would like to buy to the cart and then press 'Checkout' to complete your purchase. Payment can be made via PayPal either using your PayPal account or with a credit or debit card. Please note that orders are only processed when cleared funds have reached our PayPal account - in rare cases PayPal may place either a security check on funds which may cause a delay, or if your payment is paid by an eCheque this will cause a delay also.
Both of these are outside our control and we will not process your order until PayPal have confirmed funds have been released. We are sorry that we must do this, but it is for everyone's protection against credit card fraud.
Product Availability
Although we try and keep the stock 100% correct 100% of the time, mistakes can happen and if once your order has been completed we find that we do not have the stock to complete it, we will get in touch with you and offer an alternative, if no alternative is available we can then offer a refund on the goods not available, or a credit against another purchase.
Pre Booking
We offer 'Pre Booking' on our website - that is the ability to order suits before they actually arrive in our warehouse. This has been requested by many customers who have unfortunatly been out of luck getting some of our high demand suits when they arrive and quickly get sold.
Suits on a 'Pre Book' basis will have messages in their descriptions and above the 'Add to Cart' button explaining that they are Pre Book items and the estimated date of arrival.
Please Note: This date is an ESTIMATE and is not taking into account any delays that may be caused by shipping or customs on entry to the country. This is not usually a problem, although we have had a shipment in the past be held for a month in customs! Not helpful for either of us!
Funds ARE taken immediately for Pre Ordered goods, this is to reserve the items in our warehouse for you and they will be allocated to you and your order and the items you have pre booked will not be able to be sold elsewhere.
A word on sizing
Nineplus wetsuits fit smaller than many US brands. Please refer to the sizing charts below and take extra care when selecting your size. If your measurements indicate two size options to you our advice would be to choose the larger size.
Nineplus wetsuits are meant to fit with the rubber in a relaxed state in the shoulders and chest area. If the rubber is at full stretch it will shorten the life of the suit. Please note that an incorrectly sized suit will not be eligible for warranty coverage.
'My Account'
You'll be asked for some basic information that is required for us to complete your order. This is the only secure way we are able to process your order. Your details are stored securely and are not passed on to any third party.
From your account you can view and manage your orders, view, edit and add new addresses or your personal information, you can also view any vouchers you have.
There are options in your account, in the personal information section where you can change your newsletter and contact settings.
Confirmation
Once your order has been placed, you should receive a confirmation of your order which is also sent to us. This does not mean a contract exists between us.
We have included this to protect us in the event that an item has been incorrectly described, priced, information is incorrect or we are unable to supply the goods for any reason. If in the case of an item being incorrectly priced, we reserve the right to contact you and inform you of the price increase or decrease, you can then decide to proceed with your order and the amendments or cancel your order.
In the event of an item being out of stock or unable to be supplied we also reserve the right to cancel your order and contact you accordingly with this reason.
Shipping & Handling
Once your order has been confirmed and accepted, we will then ship your order using the desired method. In some cases the option you have selected may not be suitable when shipping your order, this may be because of weight, the address, or courier disruptions on the day. If this occurs we will send your order using an alternative courier or postal option. There is usually no delay in processing orders once they have been accepted and orders are shipped within the day although orders may have to be handled the day after they have been received if you have ordered late in the day. Shipping times vary dependant on location but with UPS usually range from 1 day (Withing CA) to 4-5 days (East Coast).
Tracking numbers are produced for all courier shipments and are updated on your account 'Orders' page once generated. (There is also a direct tracking link).
Duty & Taxes for outside the USA
We support shipping to outside of the USA although your country may charge you import duty and tax when your items arrive into the country.
You will need to check with your local customs authority to what these may be.
For the UK
This is a rough estimate for importing goods from the USA into the UK:
[Value of goods] + [Shipping Fee] = [Value to use for Duty]
Turn the [Value to use for Duty] into GBP = [GBP Duty Value]
If the [GBP Duty Value] value is UNDER £135 = No Duty Payable
If the [GBP Duty Value] value is OVER £135, Duty is calculated at the following percentages:
Wetsuits - 5%
T-Shirt - 12.5%
Fins - 2.7%
[GBP Duty Value] + Duty % above = [Duty Payable] (If the Duty Payable is less than £9, it is written off)
VAT is then calculated on this [Duty Payable] Value
There may also be a handling charge by the courier who delivers your items.
Please Note: We are unable to mark goods as 'Gifts' or mark down the value of goods to try and avoid these charges.
Returns
If for any reason you are unhappy with your goods, you can return them within 10 days of order placement.
We can only accept goods that are in an unworn, unused condition with all tags still present. We also cannot accept goods if they have been in areas where pet hair or cigarette smoke has been present.
It is your (the buyer's) responsibility to take good care of the goods until you are completely happy, and also to bear the costs involved in returning them to us. We recommend using a signed for or tracked postal service as we cannot be held responsible for lost returned goods.
Return shipping label charge: $10 per suit
Please do not return goods without contacting us first.
If you require a replacement item we will, once your items are confirmed back into stock, raise a replacement order for you and this will be reflected through your original order. Its status will be changed back to 'Processing' and then 'Shipped'. A tracking number of the replacement items will be sent to you automatically.
If a refund is required, we will again, once your items are confirmed back into stock, start the refund process. We will process your refund as soon as we are able, although reserve a 30 days (4 working weeks) processing time from when your items are back into stock due to internal processing of your items. (Please also note that this does not include the time it takes to re-stock your item). It does not usually take this long to process a refund but have included this term to protect us in the event of high demand on our warehouse and during our busy periods.
Descriptions & Images
Although we try to describe the items on our site as best as we can, and show them with images; slight differences are possible especially with images. The colours shown on a computer monitor are not always as exact as the item in real life - this is due to the way different monitors handle colours. Although the difference is slight - please bear this in mind when viewing our website.
Privacy Policy
What data do we collect?
When you register as a user, we will collect the information necessary to provide the service which includes, as a minimum, your name and an e-mail address. You will also be asked to provide your organisation name and address, but you can register without providing these details. Once you are registered, you can revisit your profile at any time to amend these details or to provide additional details by logging in and selecting the 'My personal info' link from the left hand side.
We will also need to collect address information from you to complete your order.
How do we use your data?
All of your personal data is stored securely and never, at any time stored or transfered in plain text.
We will use your data:
a. To take and fulfill your orders.
b. To administer and enhance the site and service.
c. Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes.
d. Only pass on to our other companies within our group if we feel that you may benefit from their services or products, for example; if you are a US customer, and we are launching a new product in the US, we would love to tell you about it.
Contacting you for other purposes?
From time to time we may feel that we have a service or product that may be of interest to you and will contact you. If you do not want to receive emails from us regarding our future products or offers you can request that your email address is removed from our system by emailing us here, or at the bottom of one of our mail outs.
Cookies or biscuits?
We use cookies on our website, which are small text files stored on your computer to help our site work. They are necessary for our site to work, as they will store your shopping cart while you browse through our site. You may turn these off in the options of your browser, although our site will not function correctly and you will be unable to place orders on our site.
You can also empty your 'Cookie Jar' in the options of your browser.
